This study gathered the perspectives of 46 educators from several European countries on using telepresence robots in education. Teachers and professors generally saw telepresence robots as a way to help remote students or experts feel present in the classroom, support interaction, and make participation more inclusive for those who can’t physically attend.

They noted benefits like increased communication and flexibility but also pointed to challenges such as poor Wi-Fi connection, low audio or video quality, privacy concerns, difficulty moving the robot around school spaces, and extra setup work. Educators recommended clearer planning, better infrastructure, and improvements in robot design and usability to make this technology more effective in schools.
