INVESTIGATING EDUCATION SYSTEM MODELS FOR MAINTAINING SCHOOL CONNECTION FOR SERIOUSLY SICK KIDS

MissingSchool Chair, Megan Gilmour, was awarded the Fellowship to research the best international models to enable seriously sick kids to maintain connection with their education.  Countries selected for the six-week investigation : Belgium, Canada, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden and United Kingdom.

The Churchill Trust is an Australian Trust established in 1965, the year in which Sir Winston Churchill died. The principal objective of the Trust is to perpetuate and honour the memory of Sir Winston Churchill by the award of Churchill Fellowships. The Fellowships recognise inspirational and talented Australians who strive for excellence, are passionate about their profession and who have a strong community focus. Outcomes from the Fellowship are expected to significantly contribute to knowledge that can be applied throughout Australia.
